People, Place and Preservation - Hildon's Charity Work

As an international business with strong local roots, Hildon takes pride in supporting our community through the Hildon Foundation, the charitable arm of our company. While our reach extends globally, we remain a relatively small, local business deeply invested in the wellbeing of our community. Supporting local charities is crucial because it strengthens our local bonds, addresses immediate local needs, and fosters a sense of shared responsibility.

We support so many charities and fundraising activities, this is just a taste of what we've been doing very recently.

Hampshire Hospital Trust: Enhancing Local Healthcare

One of our new Charity partners is the Hampshire Hospitals Charity. Hampshire Hospitals Charity fundraise throughout the year to provide increased care and support for those who go above and beyond what the NHS can deliver, including better outdoor and rest spaces, equipment, and enhancing the environment and experience for everyone in our hospitals. Through fundraising efforts and community events, we can help HHC make a significant impact on local healthcare and community spirit.

Community Engagement: The Colour Run 5K

Our commitment to the community is highlighted through events like the Colour Run 5K. This event is a vibrant, fun-filled way to engage the community, promote healthy living, and raise funds for local healthcare initiatives. Our Sales & Marketing team alongside our CEO embraced the chance to get hands on and support the event. The Colour Run 5K not only raised nearly £10K, but also bought the community together for a day of fun and fitness. We look forward to participating with other local businesses again next year and hope to see many of you there, supporting a good cause and enjoying a day of colourful fun.

Local Festivities

Trout 'N About the first Sunday of August every year, Stockbridge's scenic high street comes alive with local traders showcasing the very best of local food, produce and crafts, a family friendly event attracting hundreds of visitors from all around.

With over 8,000 visitors, this not-for-profit event is a significant undertaking, made even more impressive by the fact that it is run entirely by volunteers. Supported by local businesses and organisations, the event is a boon for local companies. All profits from the event are reinvested into the village for improvements and repairs.

The food stalls, ranging from traditional British fare to international offerings, created a delicious and vibrant atmosphere. Not forgetting the culinary delights available in Stockbridge High Street throughout the year. The Grosvenor served succulent oysters, Thyme and Tide is probably the best deli in Hampshire, Meadow and The Greyhound on the Test was full to bursting. Of course, all stocking HIldon natural mineral water! A huge thank you to The Greyhound on the Test for donating a three-course Sunday lunch for two to our prize draw—the delighted winner has been notified.

As a golden sponsor of Trout 'N About, we thoroughly enjoyed the day and were amazed by how many people were unaware that Hildon is a local product. We were also delighted to meet lots of regular trade and home delivery customers

People, Place, and Preservation.

Trout 'N About and the Hampshire Hospital Charity are just two of the many local initiatives we support. Please don’t be disheartened if you’re one of our charity partners not mentioned today—these are just the ones that are fresh in our minds, as they took place over the past weekend. We are committed to supporting local fundraising and charities, and it's simply not possible to cover them all in one article.

We have a long-standing relationship with the Hampshire & IOW Wildlife Trust and are also pleased to collaborate with Wessex Rivers Trust. We are dedicated to preserving and protecting our local nature and environment, and these charities hold a special place for us. Our charity work is centred around three key pillars: People, Place, and Preservation.
